01 Why this site exists

We started SynTSkins in 2025 out of frustration with the state of CS2 gambling "review" sites. The typical page in this niche is a wall of five-star ratings, written by people who never deposited a cent, ranked by whoever pays the highest affiliate commission. In an industry where the average site lifespan is under two years and exit scams are a recurring event, that's not just lazy, it gets people's inventories stolen.

We are long-time Counter-Strike players, playing since the 1.6 and Source days, who have traded and used these platforms ourselves since the CS:GO skin boom. We built the directory we wished existed: one where the score is the product, not the ad space.

02 How we work

Every listed platform goes through the same process, documented in full in our methodology:

• A real account, a real deposit (typically $20–$50), real play across at least three game modes, and a timed withdrawal, before the review is published.
• A five-pillar score, Trust, Bonus, Games, UX, Payouts, with fixed weights that don't bend for anyone.
• Monthly bonus re-checks and quarterly licence re-verification. The July 2026 sweep across all 27 listings was completed on July 4.
• Delisting below 3.0. Sites we wouldn't recommend to a friend are removed, not ranked low and monetised anyway.

03 How the site is funded

Plainly: affiliate commissions and clearly labelled sponsored placements. When you sign up to a platform through one of our links, that platform may pay us a commission. Some brands also pay for a slot in the Sponsored list at the top of the directory, those are marked "Sponsored", carry no rank number, and are held to the same editorial score as everything else.

What money cannot buy here: a rating, a rank in the editorial list, a softened review, or the removal of a con we found in testing. Sponsors have asked. The answer has cost us partnerships, and it's still no, because the entire value of this site is that the answer is no.

04 What we are not

• We are not a gambling operator. You cannot bet anything on SynTSkins, we link to platforms, we don't run them.
• We are not lawyers. Skin gambling legality varies by country; nothing here is legal advice.
• We are not for minors. Everything on this site assumes you are 18 or older. If you're not, close the tab, the platforms will confiscate underage winnings at verification anyway.
• We are not neutral about problem gambling. If it has stopped being entertainment, skip our directory and start with our responsible gambling guide instead.

05 Corrections and contact

We publish specific, checkable claims, licence numbers, house edges, withdrawal times, and that means we sometimes get one wrong or a site changes under us. If you spot an error, tell us at [email protected] or via the contact form. Verified corrections ship in days, not quarters, being fast about being wrong is part of the job.
