How we review CS2 gambling sites

01 The seven pillars

Every site receives a sub-score from 0 to 5 across seven weighted pillars. The star rating is our editorial verdict, and it closely tracks the weighted average of these pillars, it is not a marketing number. The weights below are the published priority order and sum to 100%.

02 What we actually do

• Create a real account on every listed platform with our own funds, so the review reflects the real new-player experience.
• Deposit a real test amount (typically $20-$50) using whichever method we expect most readers to use.
• Play through at least three different game modes to surface mechanics, latency issues, and bonus-claim friction.
• Request a withdrawal before publishing. We time it from request to wallet confirmation.
• Email support at least once to measure response time and quality.
• Cross-reference independent reviews (Trustpilot, Reddit r/csgobetting) to look for systemic complaints.

03 Why every site has a different rating

We deliberately do not award every site five stars. A 5/5 is reserved for sites that meet a high bar on every pillar, most platforms have at least one meaningful weakness. Our current rating distribution:

• 4.5 - 5.0: Top tier. Long operating history, licensed, fast verified withdrawals, polished UX, strong games library.
• 4.0 - 4.4: Strong recommendation with at least one notable trade-off (limited games, narrow geography, missing licence, etc.).
• 3.5 - 3.9: Functional with clear weaknesses. Usable, but better-rounded alternatives exist at similar trust levels.
• 3.0 - 3.4: Reservations. Listed for transparency rather than as an active recommendation. Typically smaller player base, sparse independent reviews, or notable trust signals missing.
• 2.5 - 2.9: Serious reservations. Listed with prominent caveats so you can see exactly what is wrong, not as a recommendation. Expect real weaknesses on trust, payouts or fairness.
• Below 2.5: Not listed. Sites we've tested and would not recommend to a friend are removed entirely rather than rated low.

04 The Trust Score, and where every number comes from

The star rating is our editorial verdict and moves slowly. The Trust Score on each review page is the same verdict on a 100-point scale, then moved by the things we can actually measure month to month. It is published with its own arithmetic shown, so you can add it up yourself:

• Base: the star rating rebased to 100, shaded by the seven-pillar breakdown. The pillars can move the base by at most 5 points, so the Trust Score can never contradict the directory ranking.
• Fairness: 0 for a fully verifiable provably fair system, −3 where only part of the floor is verifiable, −6 where outcomes cannot be verified at all.
• Payout speed: +2 instant, 0 fast, −3 moderate, −6 slow, graded from our own timed withdrawals.
• Uptime: +2 above 99.5%, 0 above 99%, −3 above 97%, −6 below that, from our own hourly monitor over a rolling 30 days.

Every score is archived monthly, so a review page can show which way a platform is moving rather than only where it stands today.

House edge is computed, not copied

Where we publish a house edge, we publish the payout structure it was computed from next to it. A 15-tile wheel paying 2x on fourteen tiles and 14x on one returns 93.33% to the player, so the edge is 6.67%, and you can check that in your head. We would rather show the arithmetic than ask you to trust a figure.

Every metric carries a label saying where it came from:

• Derived: computed by us from a payout structure we show you.
• Operator-published: the platform publishes the figure and we restate it.
• Measured: from our own sampling of real rounds.
• Independent estimate: a credible third-party figure the operator has not confirmed. Treated as indicative, never as fact.

Game modes we have not yet established a figure for are published as a visible measurement queue on each review. We would rather show you the gap than fill it with a guess, and no metric on this site is ever rendered as zero because we do not have it yet.

Deposit liquidity

Separate from payout speed, we grade how fast a deposit becomes playable. Crypto is near-universally instant, but skin deposits can sit under a Steam trade-protection window or a site-side settling period before they turn into coins you can bet with, so you can top up and still be stuck waiting. Grades run from Instant (all methods playable immediately) to Partial hold (skin deposits are held first). It is a friction no other directory in the space reports.

Badges are earned, not awarded

The badges on each listing (Editor's Pick, Top Trusted, Low House Edge, Instant Payouts, Instant Deposits, Fully Verifiable, Licensed, Veteran) are all derived from the metrics above, never handed out. A site holds a badge because its data qualifies for it, and loses it when the data changes. Hover any badge to see the exact condition it was earned on.

05 Affiliate & sponsorship transparency

Most links on this site are affiliate links, when you sign up, we may earn a commission. We also accept paid sponsorships: a brand can pay for a placement in our clearly labelled Sponsored list. Both are how the site is funded.

The crucial thing: neither affiliate commissions nor sponsorship payments change a site's editorial rating. Sponsored brands appear in a separate Sponsored list and are flagged as such; they are still scored by the exact same seven pillars as everything else, and a sponsor that rates below 2.5 is delisted from the editorial directory just like any other site.

We disclose this on every review page and in our Privacy Policy.

06 How often we update

• Bonus terms & codes: checked monthly, refreshed when a site changes its offer. Most recent sweep: September 2, 2026.
• Operator details & licences: re-verified quarterly.
• Full re-test (new deposit + withdrawal), every site is fully re-tested at least every 12 months. Sites where complaints spike are re-tested immediately.
• Removals: a site can be delisted at any time if reports of unpaid withdrawals, manipulation, or account freezes cross a threshold.

07 What we explicitly do not score on

• Influencer sponsorships: having a big streamer doesn't make a site safer. Doesn't enter our scoring.
• Affiliate commission rate: invisible to readers; invisible to our score.
• Sponsorship status: a paid Sponsored placement is labelled as such and listed separately; it never changes the editorial score.
• RTP claims on slot integrations we cannot independently verify, we mark these as "publisher-claimed" without crediting them in the score.
