Bankroll Survival Simulator
Expected value tells you the average; variance decides whether your bankroll survives long enough to see it. This simulator plays out your session 5,000 times with the exact odds implied by your inputs (win probability = (100 − edge) / (payout × 100)) and reports what actually happens to bankrolls like yours. Runs entirely in your browser.
What this teaches
Three lessons fall out of the simulation every time. First, bet sizing dominates: the same edge that grinds a 20-bets-deep bankroll to dust is survivable at 50 bets deep. Second, higher cashout targets mean higher variance, not better EV: a 10x target at the same edge busts far more often while the average stays identical. Third, the longer you play, the more certainly the edge wins, there is no session length at which continuing improves your expectation. Set a stop-loss before you deposit, and if the bust rate here makes you uncomfortable, that is the correct reaction; our responsible gambling guide covers limit tools on every major site.
